Debit Card Fraud Prevention – Home Federal has a Real Time Fraud Prevention System in place which monitors your Home Federal debit card. The system “learns” normal transactions from your account history and uses that pattern to highlight any unusual activity which could indicate a Fraud situation. Once possible fraud activity is suspected an attempt will be made to contact you to verify whether or not you authorized those transactions. For this reason it is extremely important that we always have your most current phone numbers. If we are unable to reach you for verification it is possible your card transactions could be restricted or denied. Please understand that this process is designed to protect you and Home Federal from fraud. If you have a restricted or denied transaction please contact us immediately so that we can verify recent card activity and if no fraud is suspected we can un-restrict the card.
